Who are you?

"It's just not relevant to me."

'I have come that people may have life, and have life to the full'. That's what Jesus, the founder of Christianity and the Son of God, said. If he's right, getting to know him means we'll know how life was made to be lived. It's like having the manual to life - a pretty relevant to thing to find out about!

"I wouldn’t know what to do if I went"

At Sunday@Seven everything's pretty straightforward and very relaxed. If you 'got something wrong' no-one would really notice anyway (we all make mistakes too!) Churches can often seem intimidating - we aim to be exactly the opposite.

"I used to go to church but it was boring"

So did lots of us! No church is perfect - and no church is the same. Because we exist for 14-20ish-year-olds, what we do will be relevant to your life. So please don't write us off based on some bad memories of Sundays long ago. Come and have a look - if you don't like it, there's no pressure to return!

"I’m really interested and I’d love to find out a bit more"

Great - do come and see us at 7pm on Sundays at St Andrew's Kirk Ella. We're made up of different people at different stages - we'd love to welcome you. If you're investigating Christianity, we regularly run short midweek courses to help you find out more. If you want to get in touch with Carl, do email him at carl@sundayatseven.co.uk.

"I don’t like getting preached
at"

We try very hard not to 'preach'. We want to work together to find out what God is saying to us, and then help each other to see how that affects life day by day. Whoever you are, whatever your views, we'd love to listen to what you have to say and to look together to move forward in understanding what life's all about.

"Surely people don’t believe in Jesus these days?"

Around the world, Christianity has never grown more quickly. And millions of people in this country believe that Jesus is someone special and worth listening to – and they do that because of the evidence, not through blind faith. It’s worth looking into something before writing it off…why not come along sometime and we can share our views on science, faith and what life’s all about.
